Hello LiveJournal land!
I've made a commitment. I'm going to lose at least 20 lbs by Halloween (And hey, if I can lose more... GREAT). I've started going to the gym (Davis Athletic Club, if anyone wants to join me. I would loooove company), and I'm going to start posting my workouts on LJ. Here's my request to you: give me your support! Words of encouragement = awesome. Poke me if you haven't seen a post in a while.
So, here's my stats from workout #1 (May 18, 2009)
Weight: 154 lbs
Elliptical: 3 miles on the weight-loss program
Stationary bike: 5 miles on the weight-loss program
Treadmill: 1 mile, because I was starting to lose control of my lower body.
No weights or anything on day 1, I wanted to break in my new and spiffy running shoes.
So yeah, if anyone wants to join me at DAC, gimme a ring/tweet/email/post something here. Having somebody there makes it all easier. Also, I have 9 punches left on my card, so come with me even if you're not a member.
